Protecting biodiversity through targeted bottom-up solutions

We are breaking away from traditional top-down conservation-based approaches to solving biodiversity issues. Time is short, and we need to both change how we choose where to invest and what types of solutions to finance.

Our system targets places where our understanding of near-term climate impacts and issues with social license indicate solutions are likely to be effective, both in terms of being likely to be well implemented and delivering the needed impacts.

We diverge from traditional top-down approaches and work with communities in those places and the networks that connect to them to deliver solutions which are sustainable, long-term and scalable. Our approach is grounded in transparency and accountability, all while providing local communities with the necessary agency to deliver lasting impacts on people, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
